Bye bye January! Emerson was still not feeling well today although her fever did come down. She had a few accidents but atleast ate some bread and drank some juice. Neal and I got a few minutes of alone time and decided to play Scrabble! Beckett and Neal went to Monkey Joe's so B could burn off some energy!!! We ended th day with making paper airplanes - I can definitely use some more practice with this!!! But the kids had fun! I thought E was on the mend but after bathtime she hurled all over - and I caught that in a towel because I'm a pro at this. Please let this sickness go away!!!!!

Well we headed to the dr. this morning since E's fever did not go down from yesterday and she wasn't drinking, eating or walking. After 2 hours, negative strep test, negative flu test, blood work and a urine sample we are at it could be a uti or a virus so let's treat it for a uti just in case. So we went to cvs to get prescriptions ($70 dollars later). We picked up B and sat in the recliner for 4 hours. We are having to bribe her to take all of her medicine every three hours. She cries and screams and gags. Every three hours - no fun. Her fever spiked this afternoon so she got a cool bath and cold compresses under her arms and that helped bring it down.  Very exhausted momma here but I'm praying she's going to be ok tomorrow!!

But we got a care package!!!! Praise Jesus, hallelujah, my father in law made.my.day!

I am so thankful for my Beckett. He was such a caring brother all day and didn't ask for one thing just told Emerson he was "going to take care of her for a while." That kid is getting a special treat tomorrow after being stuck in the house for 2 days! 

Hoping for some sleep tonight! Tomorrow is a new day!

We had a wonderful Wednesday!!

We dropped Beckett off at school and had a girls breakfast with YaYa at Cracker Barrel. We did some furniture browsing at  Rooms to Go and picked up some deals at the Christmas Tree Shop. YaYa and Emerson went back to her house and I picked B up from school and grabbed registration stuff for Emerson! Ahhhh! We spent the afternoon playing and napping at YaYa's and Emerson told me before she fell asleep that she was going to dream about sunshine, the pool and pistachios in the sky! Hahahaha!

Snow day!!!! We've been waiting all winter for this! It did not disappoint! We enjoyed making/throwing snowballs, building a tiny snowman and sledding down our hill!!! I still got a work out in at the gym, too!  It was a perfect day!

TGIF! We had a nice day at home together. It was a busy week with 3 play dates! My kids are becoming the best helpers!! Emerson unloaded the dishwasher and Beckett did some vaccuming and I cleaned windows. Go team!  We rearranged the living room while we waited for the driveway guy to come by. Dinner's in the crock pot and I'm looking forward to catching up on some reading tonight!!

This month is flying by! Beckett had speech this morning and for the first time ever Emerson was well behaved while we waited!! She had puzzles and shape games to keep her busy! 

After speech we went to the library for preschool storytime and craft hour!! We met our friends there and had a lot of fun doing snowmen and snowflake activities! We checked out some DVDs too, of course!  No books because honestly we have them all!! After craft time all 6 of us headed to Chick Fil A for lunch and more play. My kids had to take a pic with the cow before we left!  I'm thankful for new friends and some mom conversation! 

We met Neal for dollar taco night after he got off work and came home and all 4 of us watched a show in our bed and then had a dance party to shake it off. Time for some Dr. Seuss books (The Lorax for B read by Neal and The Cat in the Hat for E read by Me!) and sleep!!!

We had a great Wednesday! Beckett stayed home from school and we had a picnic and got ready for our play date! 

We headed out to Goochland and had the best day playing!! I miss seeing these faces daily - makes me *kinda* want to go back to teaching!  :)
