Spent the morning getting the van serviced so we only had time to grab some chicken nuggets and milk before mommy's dr. appt. this afternoon!

Followed by Sugar Shack - our first time! B and I were not fans at all :( But Emerson loved hers!

One more morning at the sound then we trekked the 4 hours home! Til next time OBX!

Our Saturday started early early! We headed to where Pop Pop fishes to see if we could spot some Dolphins. We didn't have any luck but the sunrise was gorgeous and we got treated to a delicious breakfast! 

Then we took Gracie for a walk and two people stopped to tell us what a beautiful dog she is! 

After our walk it was time for the beach! The sound side was so clear and warm! The sand bars were very visible today so we got a lot of walking and exploring in! We also made sand castles and Grandma was giving free boogey board rides!

I got to go visit with a sorority sister while the kiddos napped! Then we got some ice cream and coffee at this cute shop...

After our yummy dinner made by Grandma and Pop Pop we walked up the dunes to attempt to fly kites... Which Neal coined "geriatric kite flying" LOL! We appreciate your efforts!!

Perfect ending to a perfect beach week! So very thankful for this family of mine.
